What will the weather be like in Pakistan during Eid-ul-Adha 2025?

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted extremely hot and dry weather in the plains during Eid-ul-Adha 2025.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the plains will be extremely hot and dry during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays. However, there is a possibility of rain in Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, and Mansehra from June 7 to 9.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has also indicated the possibility of intermittent snowfall on Babusar Top, Nanga Parbat, and Batugah Top.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is dry in most districts of Balochistan, including Quetta, and hot in the southern districts. Today, the weather is likely to be extremely hot in the plains of the province.

The Meteorological Department said that the weather in Quetta Valley and its surroundings is clear and dry with moderate temperatures. The weather remains dry in most districts of Balochistan and hot in the southern parts.

Extremely hot conditions are likely in the plains, and strong, dusty winds are expected in different areas during this period.

In addition, rain has been forecast in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir from today to Thursday.

Meanwhile, the federal government has announced public holidays for Eid-ul-Adha. In a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, four public holidays have been announced for Eid-ul-Adha.

Secretary Cabinet Kamran Ali Afzal has issued the notification of the holidays. According to the notification, Eid-ul-Adha holidays will be from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9.

It should be noted that, according to the announcement of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan will be observed on Saturday, June 7.
