RAWALPINDI: Holidays have been announced for educational institutions in Punjab for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.
According to the Punjab Education Minister, educational institutions will be closed for Eid holidays from March 28.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Secretary Schools of Punjab, Khalid Wattoo, said that government schools will remain closed from March 28 to April 6, while annual results will be announced in government schools on April 4.
Khalid Wattoo further said that the new academic year will start from April 7, and students will go to new classes.

It should be noted that the Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan on Monday, March 31.
It should be remembered that the Higher Education Department had also announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays yesterday. According to the Higher Education Department, Eid holidays will start from March 28 and will continue until April 2.
The letter said that the annual examinations of the ninth grade will continue as per the schedule during the holidays.
