A curfew has been enforced in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for security reasons.
In South Waziristan, a curfew will be in place from March 17 for an indefinite period, from 6 AM to 6 PM daily. The Deputy Commissioner of Tank has issued an official notification for this.
According to the notification, all routes from Zalai Gate to New Cadet College Wana, Tanai, Sarwakai, Jandola, and Kor Qila will remain closed. Similarly, movement between Hamd Wam and Kotkai, as well as from Bibi Raghzai to Jandola, will also be suspended.
Travelers have been asked to use other routes during the curfew hours to avoid inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of South Waziristan Lower has also put out a notice, saying there will be a strict curfew from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening on the Zalai to Cadet College Wana Road and the Tanai to Sarwakai and Jandola Road.

Officials explain that this is being done to make sure security forces can move easily and to lower any possible dangers. The goal of the curfew is to keep things calm in the area and ensure people’s safety. However, they haven’t said how long the curfew will last or when it will end. That will be decided once they take a closer look at the situation.
