ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: In view of the protest by Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the federal capital, Islamabad, authorities decided to close all educational institutions on November 25 (Monday).
According to details, the decision in this regard was taken by the district administration of Islamabad in light of the situation.
The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad announced on Sunday evening that a notification in this regard will be issued soon.
In a statement released on social media, the DC Islamabad said that, in view of the current situation in the federal capital, all educational institutions will remain closed tomorrow (Monday, November 25, 2024). The notification will be issued by the district administration shortly.
According to the report, bus services for students of schools in Islamabad will also remain suspended. The school administration has informed students and parents about this decision.
On the other hand, the Private School Association of Islamabad has also decided to close schools tomorrow (Monday).
In view of the situation, the Rawalpindi District Administration has also decided to keep educational institutions closed on November 25.
It may be recalled that a protest convoy led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has left Peshawar, which includes Bushra Bibi and former President Arif Alvi. Similarly, Omar Ayub’s convoy has left Haripur Hazara for Islamabad but has been stopped at Attock on the way.
