ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken action against the deliberate delay in tax matters, suspending the chief commissioner of Inland Revenue Islamabad and other officials on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of addressing legal disputes affecting hundreds of billions of rupees in the national exchequer, declaring zero tolerance for any negligence or shortcuts in this regard.
“I am personally supervising tax system reforms as per our commitment to the public,” stated PM Shehbaz.
Highlighting the imperative of striving for the welfare of the masses, PM Shehbaz stressed the necessity of maximizing revenue to safeguard every penny of the people.
In another context, the Prime Minister recently praised the efficacy of the Chinese language as a global communication tool. He noted the official inclusion of Chinese by the United Nations and acknowledged its increasing popularity in Pakistan, with more people undertaking its study.
PM Shehbaz affirmed ongoing efforts to foster the learning and appreciation of Chinese language and literature within the country, expressing optimism about strengthening bilateral ties through language acquisition.
