Son of Renowned Islamic Scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil Passes Away

Mian Channu: Asim Jamil, the son of the renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, tragically passed away in Talamba on Sunday, as confirmed by his family.

Maulana Tariq shared this heartbreaking news on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), describing it as an “unfortunate accident” that has left everyone in a state of mourning.

According to reports from a private television channel, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Multan, Sohail Chaudhry, stated that Asim Jameel, the son of Maulana Tariq Jameel, sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.

A different television channel shared information from the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Mian Channun, who suggested that Maulana Asim Jameel may have tragically shot himself in the chest.

He was quickly rushed to the Talamba Rural Health Center in critical condition, but, unfortunately, his life could not be saved.

DSP Mian Channun emphasized that the motive behind Maulana Asim Jameel’s apparent suicide remains unclear, and an ongoing investigation is currently underway.
