RAWALPINDI: General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), has stressed that individuals involved in terrorism, along with their associates and supporters aiming to disrupt Pakistan through hostile actions, will be relentlessly pursued until they surrender to the Pakistani state.

On Wednesday, the COAS visited the Sherwangi area near Asman Manza in the South Waziristan District. In this location, six courageous soldiers had tragically lost their lives on Tuesday while bravely combatting terrorists. Upon his arrival, the COAS received an extensive briefing on the security scenario, encompassing ongoing intelligence activities and counter-terrorism maneuvers.
