Bannu: 2 Terrorists Killed, 2 Soldiers Martyred in Exchange of Fire

RAWALPINDI: According to the military’s media wing on Saturday, two soldiers of the Pakistan Army lost their lives in a gunfight with terrorists in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that two terrorists were also killed during the exchange of fire in Jani Khel, Bannu.
The ISPR further mentioned that our troops effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.
Tragically, during the intense firefight, Naib Subedar Ghulam Murtaza, a 40-year-old from District Bahawalpur, and Havildar Muhammad Anwar, a 41-year-old from District Sialkot, valiantly fought and embraced martyrdom.
The military’s media wing informed that the area is being sanitized to ensure the elimination of any other terrorists present.
It emphasized that the armed forces of Pakistan are resolute in eradicating terrorism, and the sacrifices made by our courageous soldiers strengthen our determination.
