MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra, one of Bollywood’s most prominent actors, recently spoke about the mixed reactions she received from the audience when she signed Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Fashion’.
In a conversation with YouTube personality Prajakta Koli, the actress revealed that she was trolled for taking on the project, with netizens stating that if the film failed, she wouldn’t get any more work.
Despite the criticism, Priyanka took on the challenging role of a small town girl aspiring to be a successful model in the movie.
‘Fashion’, which also starred Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, and Kitu Gidwani, went on to become a critical and commercial success, with Priyanka’s outstanding performance earning her a National Award.
