Three individuals who facilitated the suicide blast within a mosque in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been apprehended by the Counter-Terrorism Department.
During a well-coordinated operation, the Counter-Terrorism Department successfully detained three facilitators linked to the suicide attack that occurred in Khyber district.
Tragically, Additional SHO Adnan Afridi lost his life in the mosque due to the suicide blast in Khyber.
As per the CTD spokesperson, sensitive institutions’ efforts led to the identification and capture of the three facilitators. Among the accused are Dilawar Khan and his two sons, Bajila Khan and Arif Khan.
Following thorough investigation, the accused admitted to their involvement in facilitating the incident. Moreover, the authorities recovered a suicide vest, Kalashnikov, and other items from the accused’s residence.
The CTD spokesman stated that the interrogation of the arrested individuals is ongoing and is expected to reveal further revelations.
