ISLAMABAD: Atlas Honda Limited, the country’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, has increased prices of its motorcycles by Rs2,000 to Rs6,000 per unit. The revised prices will take effect from July 1, 2025.
The hike comes after the federal government imposed a 1% Carbon Levy on imported motorcycle engines in the fiscal year 2025–26 budget. Industry sources and dealers confirmed the increase, linking it directly to the new tax.
Chairman of the Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA), Muhammad Sabir Shaikh, said the carbon levy has made motorcycle manufacturing costlier, forcing companies to adjust prices.
