ISLAMABAD: Bollywood singer Arijit Singh has announced plans to build a hospital in Jangipur city, located in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal.
His noble initiative has gained the support of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who has asked the state and district administration of Murshidabad to provide assistance to the singer in achieving his goal.
During an administrative meeting of Murshidabad and Malda on Thursday, Banerjee expressed her approval of the hospital’s construction and directed officials to provide all possible support to Singh. She also instructed MP Khalil Ur Rahman from Jangipur to assist him in the hospital’s making.
Banerjee believes that if Singh builds the hospital, it will greatly benefit the people, especially since the state government has already built a super specialty hospital in Jangipur. With the full support of the authorities, Arijit Singh’s aim to build a hospital is sure to be a success and a great service to the community.
