BAJAUR: The residence of MNA and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Mubarak Zeb Khan, came under attack once again as a rocket struck his home late at night. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported.
According to police and security officials, the rocket damaged the main gate of the house in Bajaur. Law enforcement agencies quickly reached the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation. Security in the area has been tightened, and a search operation is underway to trace those behind the attack.
This is the second such incident targeting Mubarak Zeb Khan within a month.
Last month, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded outside his house, damaging the main gate. In a post on his official X account, Zeb had confirmed that the blast was aimed at him and his family, calling it a cowardly act. He also stated that such threats would not weaken his commitment.
At the time of that blast, Zeb was not at home. Police had also launched an investigation into that incident, while National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq condemned the attack and called for a transparent inquiry to bring the culprits to justice.

Officials say that this repeated targeting raises serious concerns about the security of elected representatives in the region.
Mubarak Zeb Khan was elected as an independent candidate from NA-8 Bajaur in February and was later appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
