ISLAMABAD: The Federal Directorate of Education has announced that public sector schools and colleges in Islamabad Capital Territory will have revised schedules for the spring break, which will give students additional holidays for the upcoming Eid celebrations.
Rescheduled Spring Break
According to an official notification, all schools and colleges in Islamabad will be closed from April 17 to 20 for the spring holidays. This announcement has been welcomed by students and teachers alike as they will be able to enjoy some much-needed rest before the Eid holidays.
Possible Clubbing of Holidays
With Eid expected to fall on either April 22 or 23, there is a possibility that the authorities may decide to club the spring break with Eid holidays, providing students and teachers with even more time off.
Benefits of the Revised Schedule
Dr. Rahima Rehman, President of the Federal Government College Teachers Association, stated that this new spring vacation schedule would provide teachers with a chance to connect with their loved ones during Eid and maintain a healthy balance between work and home. The break will also give teachers time to reflect on their teaching practices and plan for the upcoming academic session.
In conclusion, the revised schedule for the spring break in Islamabad Capital Territory is expected to benefit students and teachers by providing them with additional holidays during the upcoming Eid celebrations, as well as the chance to rest and recharge before the next academic session.
