Pakistan women’s team player Aliya Riaz and the famous commentator Ali Younis have become engaged.
The simple, joyous ceremony took place in Wah Kent and was attended by close members of both families. Ali Younis’ elder brother, former captain Waqar Younis, also participated in the engagement ceremony.
Both families attempted to keep the engagement ceremony a secret, but after the pictures surfaced on social media, cricket circles have been congratulating them and expressing their best wishes.
It’s worth noting that the 31-year-old all-rounder Aliya Riaz has represented Pakistan in 62 ODIs and 83 T20Is. Aliya Riaz is known for her power-hitting along with her fast bowling skills.
