Eminem has allegedly delivered a scathing attack on Benzino in his latest song.
The rapper released a new track titled “Doomsday Pt 2” on Thursday, reigniting the longstanding feud with Benzino, according to NME’s investigation.
Apparently, the lyrics in the song target the former publisher of The Source magazine, mocking his appearance and wealth.
In one part of the track, the 51-year-old star raps, “Now I got a riddle, one condition, you mustn’t laugh/ What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe/ ‘Go at his neck,’ how the f*** is that?/ How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have?”
Eminem also continues to make jest of Benzino’s physical attributes, stating, “Arm so short he can’t even touch his hands/ When they’re up above his head doin’ jumpin’ jacks/ Sorry, I don’t mean to upset you, Ben/ When I talk about all the debt you in/ I hear that you been creepin’ on the low/ In them cheap hotels, that they catch you in.”
Further into the song, Eminem extends the banter to Benzino’s daughter, Coi Leray, stating, “Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day/ But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say/ Guess that Coi Leray feat is in the toilet, ay?”
For those unfamiliar with the history, the Eminem-Benzino feud reached its peak in 2003 when Benzino released a diss track about Eminem but later apologized. Despite the apology, Benzino continued to criticize Eminem in his magazine, prompting The Real Slim Shady artist to reportedly respond in kind, as per NME’s report.
