RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), under the guidance of Director General (DG) Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, has issued notices to three unauthorized housing schemes.
These schemes include Shah-e-Khrasan at Mouza Chakra on Chakri road, Imperial City at Mouza Sahang on Mandra-Chakwal road, and Ring Road Town at Mouza Harka, Basali near Chak Beli Khan road in Rawalpindi.
On Friday, an RDA spokesman disclosed that the notices were directed to Saeed Rizvi, Masood Azmat, and Umar Awan, who are the proprietors of these illicit private housing projects.
The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA had previously issued warnings, with the DG instructing the MP&TE Director to take legal action against unauthorized advertising and marketing.
Additionally, the authorities were mandated to file FIRs against the owners of these illegal housing schemes.
The spokesman conveyed that the sponsors of these unauthorized housing schemes were cautioned to cease the promotion of their unapproved and illegal projects.
Furthermore, citizens were advised against investing in such schemes and encouraged to verify the status of housing projects through the official RDA website at www.rda.gop.pk.
