“Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that winter vacations for children will be observed from Dec 18, 2023, to Jan 1, 2024.”

Meanwhile, schools in Sindh will observe vacations from December 22 to 31.

After the winter break, educational institutions will resume classes on January 1, 2024.

“In adherence to decisions made in the steering committee meeting, all public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh will remain closed from 22-12-023 to 31-12-023 for Winter Vacation,” a statement from the provincial government stated.

Moreover, the new academic year in both public and private schools across Sindh will begin on April 15, 2024, while colleges will start on August 1, 2024.

Matriculation and intermediate exams are scheduled to commence in the last week of May 2024, with results expected to be announced on July 31 and the second week of August, respectively.
