KARACHI: Karachi traffic police have shared a traffic plan for the tri-nation series and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. The Champions Trophy will start on February 19, 2025, at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The tournament will have 15 matches from February 19 to March 9. Matches will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai.
Eight teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B features Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia.
The opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be on February 19 in Karachi. Pakistan will face India on February 23 in Dubai.
Karachi traffic schedule for ICC Champions Trophy and tri-nation series matches 2025;
Karachi will host two matches of the tri-nation series on February 12 and 14, and three Champions Trophy matches on February 19, 21, and March 1.
Sir Shah Suleman Road will stay open for traffic during match days.
Parking will be available at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground for those coming from Karsaz, Millennium Mall, and New Town. Drivers can use the flyover to access these spots.
Heavy traffic will be allowed on the following routes:
- Sohrab Goth to Nipa
- Liaquatabad No.10 to Hassan Square
- PP Chowrangi to University Road
Heavy traffic will not be allowed on these routes:
- Karsaz to Stadium Road
- Millennium to New Town
- Stadium Road to Hassan Square
