LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the “Honhaar Scholarship Scheme” for students from other provinces. The number of laptops under the Punjab laptop scheme has been increased to 110,000. All students will follow the same eligibility criteria.
Important decisions on higher education were made during a meeting chaired by the chief minister. She emphasized the importance of education and youth development. “I want every student to have a laptop.
Education is a true investment in the nation’s future. Students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also our children and have the same right to scholarships and laptops,” she said.
