Punjab boards announce Intermediate results: Mixed success rates across the province

LAHORE : Educational Boards across Punjab, including Lahore, have announced the results of the Intermediate Second Annual Examinations.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad, announced the results of the Intermediate Second Annual Examinations. According to the details, Divisional Commissioner and Chairperson of Faisalabad Board,  released the results online on the Board’s website, accompanied by Board Secretary Dr. Habib Ur Rehman.

A total of 21,937 candidates appeared in the exams, of which 8,412 students passed. The success rate in the Intermediate Second Annual Examinations stood at 38.35%. The exams were conducted at 57 centers across the division.

In Lahore, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education conducted the Second Annual Examinations for a total of 49,465 candidates. Out of these, 31,329 candidates failed, while 18,136 passed. The success rate in the Lahore Board exams was over 36%.

Meanwhile, the Gujranwala Board conducted the Second Annual Examinations for 2024, with 34,895 candidates appearing. According to the Controller of Examinations, 21,911 candidates failed, while 12,985 candidates passed, resulting in a success rate of 37.21%.

The Multan Board also announced the results of the Intermediate Second Annual Examinations for 2024. A total of 16,774 candidates appeared, with 6,630 passing. The success rate in the Multan Board exams was 39.53%. Additionally, 28 exam centers were established, and five candidates were penalized for cheating.

The Intermediate First Annual Examinations for 2025 will begin on April 22. The application forms for these exams can be submitted with a single fee from January 1 to January 24, 2025. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for rechecking by January 11, 2025.
