ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: Metrobus service will remain partially suspended in Rawalpindi from November 28 to December 1, 2024.
According to media reports, the Metrobus service in Rawalpindi is being closed due to track restoration.
The report states that the Metrobus service will be partially suspended from Saddar Station to Faizabad, while the Metrobus service from Faizabad to Pak Secretariat will run as usual.
It should be noted that the Metrobus service from Faizabad to Pak Secretariat will be fully restored after December 2.
On the other hand, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 retake in Islamabad has been postponed due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest on November 24.
As per a media report, the dates of December 8 and 15 are now under consideration for the MDCAT test; however, the final date of the test has not yet been determined.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University has informed the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in this regard. The entrance test for the medical and dental college in Islamabad will now be held next month.
Earlier, SZAMBU announced the re-conduct of admission tests on November 24, following the Islamabad High Court (IHC) directive to retake the tests in Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
It is worth noting that in October, the Islamabad High Court set aside the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 results and ordered a retake.
