ISLAMBAD: Earthquake tremors were felt on Thursday in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a private tv channel report, the KP cities affected by the quake tremors include Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, and Kohistan.
Apart from this, an earthquake also occurred in Mansehra, Swabi, Upper Dir, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Mardan, while people in Mansehra came out of their houses in fear.
According to the seismological center, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.4 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter in the Hindu Kush region. The depth of the earthquake was 215 km.
