PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has declared the establishment of the province’s inaugural artificial intelligence (AI) center.
According to a media report, Faisal Karim Kundi announced the establishment after meeting Senator Mian Atiq in Peshawar.
“The AI center will be established at Governor House in Peshawar,” the governor added. During the meeting, the latest trends in digital technology in the province and their benefits were discussed in detail.
Talking to Senator Ateeq, Faisal Karim Kundi said the AI center will play a key role in the mission of women empowerment and youth engagement in the province.
Faisal Karim Kundi described connecting the AI center with the universities as an important step.
Earlier, on July 8, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori announced free scholarships for talented students from the province who wish to study abroad.
Kamran Khan Tessori established a special cell at the Governor’s House to assist students interested in the scholarship program.
The Governor said that students from Sindh can participate in the program based on merit, and those selected will be sent abroad for their education.
He said that due to economic conditions, the country is facing difficulties and people are divided along political, linguistic, and sectarian lines.
“The Governor’s House is open to everyone, and efforts are being made to address the issues faced by the people,” Kamran Khan Tessori said.
