Expected Petrol, Diesel Prices in Pakistan for May 1, 2024: Latest Fuel Rates Update

Expected Petrol, Diesel Prices in Pakistan: After hitting a record high, the prices of petrol in Pakistan are expected to go down for the first half of next month, starting May 1, 2024.

The government is set to change the prices of different types of fuel – petrol, fast diesel, regular diesel, and kerosene oil – on April 30.

The hope for a drop in petrol prices is because the prices of oil in other countries are going down.

Reports say that the price of fast diesel in the world market went down by $4.3, and now it’s $104.76 for one big tank. The price of petrol also went down by $1.86, and now it’s $107.16 for one big tank.

Petrol, Diesel Prices in Pakistan Today;

On April 15, the Pakistani government made the petrol price higher by Rs4.53 for the last part of April 2024. Now, the new petrol price is Rs293.94.

A message from the Finance Division said that the price of fast diesel also went up by Rs8.14, and now it’s Rs290.38.

Expected Petrol and Diesel Price in Pakistan for May 1, 2024;

The petrol price is expected to go down by Rs7.85 to Rs286.09, while the fast diesel price would fall by Rs3.75 to Rs286.63.
