Taylor Swift’s immensely successful Eras Tour is continuing its record-breaking streak, this time in theaters. According to a Private Media Reports , the upcoming concert film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” has now grossed over $100 million in ticket sales worldwide.

The film, featuring Taylor Swift’s spectacular tour performances, is currently being showcased in more than 100 countries across the globe, with a staggering 8,500 screens in operation. AMC Theatres, the official global distributor for the film, has confirmed that these remarkable revenues were generated across all showtimes and theater circuits, including Pakistan.

Notably, the film exceeded expectations by shattering the all-time single-day ticket sales record for AMC Theatres in North America, amassing an impressive $26 million in sales. The previous record-holder, Marvel’s “Spider-man: No Way Home,” had grossed $16.9 million in sales.

Anticipation is high for the film’s North American opening weekend, with projections suggesting it could reach the $100 million sales milestone, a feat achieved by only five films in 2023: “Barbie,” “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”

Furthermore, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” has also shattered domestic pre-sale records for Cinemark theaters, boasting pre-sales that are more than ten times higher than any previous cinema engagement event, as reported in a press release by the North American chain.

Audiences in Pakistan can look forward to experiencing “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” when it premieres on October 13, courtesy of Cinepax Theatres, with screenings available in major cities across the country.
