Gold prices rise on local market

Karachi : Gold prices surged on the local market, according to traders. The price of gold rose by Rs. 700 to Rs. 204200 per tola, and by Rs. 600 to Rs. 175068 per 10 grams.

In the global market, gold traded at $1936 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver held steady at Rs. 2150 per tola and Rs. 1843.27 per 10 grams.
