ISLAMABAD: In response to the recent audio leaks, the federal government has established a three-member commission tasked with conducting a thorough investigation.
The commission will be headed by the esteemed Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court. Joining him on the commission will be the Chief Justices of the Balochistan and Islamabad High Courts.
The primary objective of the commission is to scrutinize the leaked audio recordings involving the former Punjab Chief Minister and a currently serving judge of the Supreme Court.
Additionally, the commission will delve into the audio leak pertaining to the former Chief Minister of Punjab and the lawyer involved in presenting a case before the bench of the Supreme Court.
The formation of this commission signals the government’s commitment to addressing these audio leaks promptly and comprehensively. The commission, led by Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, will carry out an impartial investigation, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal protocols.
