KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft brought back 97 Pakistani nationals from war-torn Sudan to Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport via Jeddah.
The Foreign Office, in a Twitter post, confirmed that the Pakistani government will continue to facilitate the safe return of Pakistanis who are stranded in Sudan.
The ministry also expressed gratitude to China for evacuating hundreds of Pakistanis from Sudan port and taking them to Jeddah. In an earlier tweet, the Foreign Office informed that a batch of 216 Pakistani nationals arrived in Jeddah from Port Sudan aboard China Navy’s Weishanhu.
