KARACHI: The Sindh College Education Department has approved the admission process for Class XI in government colleges for the 2025-26 academic session under the Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Programme (SECCAP).
According to officials, admissions this year will be granted based on students’ 9th Class or O-Level Part-1 results. The Education Department issued a notification on Friday, announcing that online applications will be accepted from June 15 to July 15, 2025, through the official SECCAP portal: www.seccap.dges.gos.pk.
The placement lists for all faculties will be released by July 22, 2025. Classes for Class XII will start from August 1, while Class XI will commence from August 5, 2025.
The College Zone System will remain in place for Karachi, allowing students to apply to nearby colleges. However, students with A+ and A grades will have the option to choose any college. Those with B, C, D, and E grades will only be eligible to apply within their designated zones.

Regional directors in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, and Larkana will manage the admission process in their respective areas. The overall process will be supervised by the Director General Colleges Sindh.
The Directorate’s IT Section will issue placement lists based on faculty and gender, following approval from the Chairman SECCAP Committee 2025-26.
To address any issues, separate claim centres for male and female students will be set up after the issuance of the placement lists. Students who were previously enrolled in HSC or FSC and wish to reapply this year must first cancel their previous enrollment with the board and remove their earlier admission record from the SECCAP portal.
Only after completing this procedure can such students apply again online. Candidates who have a study gap of more than five years are not eligible for admission in the 2025-26 session.
