ISLAMABAD: Cambridge University Press & Assessment has confirmed that a few questions from three of its June 2025 exam papers were leaked shortly before the exams took place, as per the private tv report.
According to a detailed investigation by Cambridge’s Exam Security Team, leaks were found in three specific cases: one question from AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 12, parts of two questions from Mathematics Paper 42, and parts of one question from AS & A Level Computer Science Paper 22. However, there was no evidence that complete question papers were leaked.
To ensure fairness for all students, Cambridge has announced that full marks will be awarded to every candidate for the specific leaked questions. The organisation stated that this may slightly increase the overall marks of some students, and this will be taken into account while finalising results.
Cambridge assured students that no one will be asked to retake exams or face any delay in receiving their results. It also stated that it is confident in the solution applied to deal with the situation.
The organisation clarified that most of the so-called paper leaks circulating online were either false or part of scams. In many cases, students were asked to pay money for fake papers. Cambridge strongly condemned these scams and expressed sympathy for the students who faced stress due to these false claims.

She appreciated the patience of students, families, and schools and said Cambridge remains confident in the integrity of its qualifications.
Dr Anthony Dawson, Director of Assessment Standards at Cambridge, said, “Our main goal is to be fair to the majority of students who did not try to access the papers in advance, which is why we gave full marks for the affected questions.”
Cambridge also confirmed that it has identified the sources of the leaks in all three cases and is taking action against those involved. The investigation findings and steps taken have been shared with Pakistan’s Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and other concerned authorities.
