BTS member V recently gave his fans a glimpse into his current location after making a brief public appearance at Chucheon station in Gangwon-do while en route to his designated unit within the ROK Army’s second division.
The South Korean boy group’s members began their military service duties in 2023, with V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, officially commencing on December 11.
V is now set to fulfill his remaining duties within the second division of the ROK Army, serving as a member of the military police special forces.

Before joining his current division, the 28-year-old singer initially applied to the Capital Defense Command Special Mission Division (SDT), successfully passing both the initial document screening and subsequent interview rounds.
Following the completion of his five-week basic training, V underwent an additional three-week training session at the Army’s Comprehensive Administration School.
As V and other members like Jung Kook, Jimin, and RM fulfill their mandatory military service, the K-pop band is currently on hiatus.
Jin was the first member to enlist in 2022, with J-Hope and Suga following suit.
