ISALAMABAD: In recognition of their dedicated service during the distribution of free flour throughout the month of Ramadan, a total of 84 employees from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) will be honored with an equivalent of one basic salary as a token of appreciation.

Gratuity Approval for Deserving Employees

The decision to award this gratuity has been made, and an amount of Rs. 18,74,000 has been approved to distribute among the deserving employees as their honorarium. The recipients of this honorarium encompass employees from various departments, including CDA Hospital, HRD, MP2, Parliament Lodges, and Road and Maintenance Department.

Beneficiaries and Distribution

Out of the beneficiaries, 25 employees belong to the ICT, while the remaining 59 are from the CDA. This gratuity is also extended to the healthcare department and emergency staff who worked diligently at the flour distribution centers. Their unwavering efforts and dedication to serving the community during Ramadan are deeply valued, and they will be duly rewarded.

Notification and Recognition of Extraordinary Efforts

The HRD department issued a notification after obtaining the necessary approvals from the Chief Commissioner and the Chairman of the CDA to announce the approval of the honorarium. The notification recognizes that these employees went above and beyond their regular office hours by working extra hours of duty. Despite not receiving any compensation for the additional duty or overtime, these employees fulfilled their responsibilities diligently.

Challenges Faced and Merit-Based Reward

Furthermore, the notification emphasizes that the employees did not have access to transportation facilities during their duty on the free flour distribution project. Despite these challenges, their commitment and performance have been acknowledged, and the honorarium is being granted to them based on merit.

A Testament to Hard Work and Dedication

This initiative serves as a testament to the employees’ hard work and dedication in serving the community during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring the smooth distribution of free flour to those in need. Their selfless service and exceptional efforts are greatly appreciated and recognized.
