K-pop group Ateez’s Wooyoung to take hiatus due to ankle injury . KQ Entertainment, the agency representing South Korean boy band Ateez, announced on May 8th that member Wooyoung will be taking a break from his schedule due to an ankle injury.
Despite performing while sitting in a chair during their recent encore shows in Japan, the pain persisted and it was decided that he needed thorough examination and treatment.
As a result, Wooyoung will be suspending his schedule to receive appropriate treatment.
He will be unable to join upcoming schedules, including ‘THE DANCE DAY LIVE 2023’ and ‘KCON 2023 JAPAN.’ The agency apologizes for the sudden news and assures fans that Wooyoung’s health is their top priority.
