ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has decided to accelerate its crackdown on undocumented foreigners residing in the country. The decision was made during the third meeting of the Counter-Terrorism and Harden the State Committee, chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

During the meeting, NADRA was instructed to provide live data verification facilities at exit points. All relevant institutions were also urged to fully implement a “one document system.”

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need for federal and provincial agencies to work together to eliminate illegal activities. He also called for strict measures against the begging mafia, stating that declaring begging a non-bailable offense is crucial as it tarnishes the country’s image.

Mohsin Naqvi also shared that the Interior Ministry is working closely with the Ministry of Energy and provincial governments to stop electricity theft.
