PESHAWAR: Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on Wednesday announced the commencement of summer vacations 2024 for colleges and universities across the region .
According to a notification from the KP Higher Education Department, summer vacations in the summer zone are scheduled to begin from June 15 and extend until August 31, 2024.
In the winter zone, the holidays are set to commence from July 1 to 31, with colleges and universities in this area scheduled to resume activities on August 1, 2024.
It stated, “Following this, the examination timetable provided by the Universities, Higher Education Institutions, and Colleges for BS (4 Year) and Associate Degree Program or any other, will continue as per the approved Academic Calendar.”

Earlier, KP government announced summer vacations for all public and private schools amid rise in mercury. the summer vacation will start on June 1 and continue until August 31 for primary students.
For senior wing, the summer holiday will start from June 15, 2024. In the upper cold districts, the vacation period will start in coming weeks. Schools in colder region will close from July 1 to August 31, 2024.
