PTCL, NICL Sign Agreement for Secure Cloud Services

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) have inked a deal to provide Smart Cloud Services along with associated licenses.

According to a press release, the agreement was signed by Muhammad Basharat Qureshi, Group Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at PTCL, and Khalid Hameed, CEO of National Insurance Company Limited (NICL).

Also present at the event were Umar Farooqi, Group Director of Enterprise Solutions at PTCL, Tariq Aziz, Executive Director of National Insurance Company, and Bilal Kully, General Manager of Information Technology at National Insurance Company, alongside other senior officials.

Under the agreement, PTCL will equip National Insurance Company with cutting-edge infrastructure solutions featuring the latest technology, integrated managed security, and DDoS filtering solutions. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Muhammad Basharat Qureshi emphasized, “We are delighted to partner with National Insurance Company to cater to their business requirements.

As a national entity, PTCL spearheads the digitization movement nationwide. Through such collaborations, PTCL remains committed to advancing technology infrastructure by delivering innovative and secure solutions to the corporate and public sectors, thus contributing to the country’s overall economic growth.”

In his remarks, Khalid Hameed, CEO of National Insurance Company, highlighted the importance of robust security measures in the era of rapid banking activities, particularly via mobile and online platforms. He expressed satisfaction in partnering with PTCL as a trusted provider for their Smart Cloud Services for Virtual Private Servers.

Hameed emphasized the significance of data security and the company’s commitment to offering customers top-notch financial solutions that enable them to embrace digital financial lifestyles confidently. He described the partnership with PTCL as a strategic move, considering the scale and quality of services offered.

PTCL is dedicated to delivering superior services to its corporate clientele across various industries in Pakistan.
